Does anyone know the stock exhaust diameter on the 9-3 Aero? And what are opinions on an Electric Exhaust Cut-out? I want to put it right before the cat but I don't know how much room there will be and whether or not it can be done. I need to know downpipe diameter and the pipe size after the cat (which I'm pretty certain is smaller.) Thanks if anyone can help.

I don't think it'll be an issue of fitment. Also I'm going to guess your exhaust is 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" in diameter.

Measure the OD with calipers and subtract 1/8 for wall thickness (1/16 for each side.

If you do not have calipers, measure the circumference and divide that by 3.14.

Or, go to a muffler shop and ask them.

From what I've been able to find it's both, 2.5 for the down pipe and then 2.25 cat-back

Straight out the hood, over the roof, down the rear hatch, forward over the wheel arches, and out the side footwells of the driver/passenger

That sounds about right. anything bigger than 2.5" and you tend to lose torque.
